Eidolon | ahy-DOH-luhn | noun;
1. A phantom; apparition.

Happy Halloween! We don't really celebrate Halloween in Australia so here is the closest thing to a costume I could gather, I call it Skeleton-Fairy. It's a bit hard to notice in the photographs, but my hair is now pastel green with lilac roots. I'm not sure if I like it.

Teratoid | TER-uh-toid | adjective;
1. Resembling a monster.

The photos aren't great quality, sorry - but I really love the lighting and the juxtaposition of the neon dress in the dark parking garage. I've been up to some super exciting things lately, I can't wait to share them with you.

Recusant | REK-yuh-zuhnt | adjective;
1. A person who refuses to submit, comply, etc.

I adore how over-exposed and imperfect these photographs are. I also love how terrifically these sunglasses clash with my hair, I feel like a love-child of the 70's and My Little Pony.

Here are some photos from Fridays Journalism Ball. It was so much fun mingling with fellow students and future employers. The free wine took full advantage of me but these photos are from before the night got messy. Hope you all had an amazing weekend!

The Journalism Ball was last night, I'm feeling pretty average today. I'll share some photos of the night with you later, in the meantime here is the perfect hungover/summer outfit.

Fulgurant | FUHL-gyer-uhnt | adjective;
1. Flashing like lightning.

Today H and I went op-shopping with the hope of finding something to wear to our Ball tomorrow. We didn't find anything particularly awesome and H was guilted into buying a dress she tore with her boobs. I guess I'll have to wear something I already own. Sad.
