OUTFIT POST!

  What better thing to do on a Friday afternoon than chill out with a couple of mates, cold drink in hand? In true Australian spirit, the bars and clubs in our area partake in a 2-for-1 Friday happy hour. Oh boy, is it happy!

  Last night the girls and I braved the cold (okay, it wasn't that cold) and headed out for a couple of drinks. Being the poor uni student that I am, I always take advantage of 2-for-1's and needless to say, those cheap drinks always take advantage of me. By saying that I mean I am usually on the floor within a couple of hours. My alcoholism aside, it was a pretty good night. I got to catch up with a few friends that I hadn't seen in a while and I woke up this morning feeling fine and dandy as opposed to the zombie-state I was expecting to be in (which is always a mega plus!). Here's what I wore;

  I know that last picture is crappy but it's the only one I have of the whole outfit/length of the dress. What I wore - Cooper St Blazer, My Sunday Feeling Dress, Tony Bianco Wedges, Portmans Clutch, assorted jewellery/accessories. How was everyones Friday night? Big plans for tonight? Anywho, enjoy your weekend Ladies and Gents.

  One of my favourite Australian brands is having a very big sale that begins today. 50% OFF! I'm actually quite depressed at the moment as I am very, very broke. So instead of sharing with you what I have purchased and is being shipped to me at this very second, I am going to show you what I would purchase should my bank account magically find itself inundated with funds. Here we go;

Heavy Metal Bell-sleeve dress in Black & Bandage off-shoulder dress in Tobacco

Cable-knit Micro Short in Creme & Daisy Chain Skirt in Black

Panelled lace/chiffon Tee-dress in Terracotta & Suede Fringing Lace-up Shorts in Black

Daisy Chain Fitted Dress in Creme

  Please do feel free to purchase any of these items for me. If not, go and purchase some for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Visit their website or facebook. All images are from here.

The Row - Resort 2012

  Everybody's favorite child prodigies, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, are all grown up now with their own clothing line. The Row. Given the bad reputation attached to celebrity lines, the two avid business-women wowed critics with the success of the release of their first collection in 2007. The Row boasts feminine, beautifully tailored, everyday-wear pieces with a modern twist. Their recent Resort collection is easily one of my favourites of the 2012 Resort collections I have seen so far.

  Sorry to be bombarding you with so many collections but I really believe that once you see this you will fall in love. I also have another outfit post in the works (it all depends if I decide to go out tonight, which I probably will. Cocktail night, yay!). Anywho, picture time!

This is my favourite look from the collection.
The cropped, fur coat + sheer, floral embellished dress - LOVE.

  So what does everyone think? Awesome or awesome? So if anyone would like to buy me any (or all) of these pieces, please feel free to do so (size AU8, thanks). All images are from here.

Opening Ceremony - Resort 2012

  So last nights drinks with the ladies ended up getting a little messy. I'm not entirely sure about the details, though I do know that my knee is very swollen, bruised and sore. Today, I'm feeling a little seedy, accompanied by a very short attention span. So instead of going to the effort to write an interesting entry, I will bombard you with beautiful photos. Get excited!

  This month has seen the release of Opening Ceremony's Resort 2012 collection. The pieces featured boast floaty, flirty cuts in bright yellow, green and orange hues and, of course, the ever-popular florals. However, the best part about this collection is the fact that it is Opening Ceremony's very first Resort collection. I would love to high-five their head designer for doing such a great job, they definitely have a lot to live up to in future collections.
